Remembering Their Service: A Veterans Day Community Art Project

Throughout the month of November, guests of the Virginia War Museum will have the ability to participate in a Community Art Project designed to capture the memories, stories, and names of veterans who are important to our guests.

Visitors will have access to American flags with which they can write down the name of a veteran who has impacted them and even write down a memory or story relating to them.

The Community Art Project will hang up in a prominent space in the Virginia War Museum for the rest of the year for guests to be able to pause and reflect on the honor and sacrifices of our veterans.
